Using the MFC1 with Guitar Rig is a great way to control guitar effects and switch presets with a MIDI controller.
1. In Jamstik Creator, set your MFC to the attached GuitarRig.mfc1 profile. This sets encoders to CC70-72 and footswitches to CC97, CC73, and CC96.
2. In Guitar Rig make sure that your MFC is connected in the top left menu (file - Preferences - MIDI)
3. Then for Macro 1-3 at the bottom of the screen, right click (control click/secondary click on mac) and click "Learn MIDI Control". Then, move the corresponding encoder on the MFC1 (1,2,3 for macro 1,2,3)
4. If you want to use Footswitch B to control Macro 4, right click on macro 4, click Learn MIDI Control, and then press encoder B. By default, the MFC has this set to Momentary which would only have the knob at full while it is being pressed down. This also is preferred if you right click on macro 4 and toggle to Button Mode.
If you prefer, you can change Footswitch B's button type in Jamstik Creator to toggle.
5. Finally to switch presets with Footswitch A and C, right click on the small arrows next to the name of the preset at the top. In those dropdowns click Learn MIDI Control and press the corresponding footswitch (Up Arrow = Footswitch A | Down Arrow = Footswitch C)
