Getting Started in Pro Tools

Here's how to connect your Jamstik's MIDI output to Pro Tools.

This demonstration walks through the process using the Jamstik Studio, but the connection process is the same for all of the Jamstik controllers.

First, make sure your Jamstik is plugged in via USB and turned on.

Then, in Pro Tools, create a new stereo instrument track.

Under inserts, select the instrument you would like to use.

Now, simply make sure the track is armed, and you’re good to go.

The Jamstik Creator now also includes an AAX plugin that can be used inside of Pro Tools for playing the included instruments as well as change settings for your Jamstik inside Pro Tools.
