The Jamstik Creator plugin is the key to personalizing your experience with the Studio MIDI guitar. One of the best ways to quickly sync the Jamstik with your playing style is by experimenting with the sensitivity of the MIDI pickup. You can adjust string sensitivity in two ways - first, by physically adjusting the MIDI Pickup height as explained in this article. You can also fine-tune the sensitivity in the device settings tab of the Creator plugin. To do this, first, connect your Jamstik Studio to the Creator app (either in DAW or standalone). Then, select Device Settings located in the upper left of the plugin. You should now see something like this.
Once here, you can toggle the Master String Sensitivity fader to change all the strings at once.
Or, toggle each string individually.
High-value sensitivities are great for soft, delicate playing. Think finger-picking, laid back comping, or nuanced, quick fretwork. Lower value sensitivities are great for rockin' out with a pick, power chords, or 'sloppier' style solos where you might be raking the strings and bending hard. Either way, the Creator plugin gives you the tools to fine-tune the pickup to your unique playing style.
