Do the skills learned with the jamstik transfer over to a real guitar?

Yes - Since the jamstik uses real guitar strings and frets, the student builds finger calluses, muscle memory and learning to pick real strings just like with an acoustic or electric guitar. Chords, rhythm, picking, fretting and strumming will all transfer over from the jamstik to a real guitar.
